Just being tight?
My idea came for a cost neutral trip when I recently completed the 3 peaks challenge to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Trust and St Teresas Hospice in Darlington. 14 of us set out on the challenge and raised a fantastic £1300. that was great until the next day as my legs felt like they had been in a car crash and I looked through my bank statement. B&B £35, Evening Meal and Drinks £25, Food and drinks for the trip £15, Walking Boots and clothing £55. So per head we had raised £92, I had managed to spend £130! So as I sulked at home, aching, it got me thinking.
I am hoping that companies or individuals are able to support me by either making a donation to the BHF on my Just Giving page. or, maybe they have something that may be useful for my trip that they can loan me or give me.
I am busy approaching companies to see about borrowing (stealing) goods from them that wont leave them out of pocket while still allowing them to support me.
Keep an eye open for the wish list of items I will be needing.
